I became a BodyTalk practitioner as a result of my quest for more “tools” to encourage the body on its path to healing. My initial training as a massage therapist, includes tools like: cranial/sacral, acupressure, deep tissue, and touch for post traumatic stress. These are very useful in facilitating the healing process for many. However, I would continue to meet clients for whom the “touch” I knew just wasn’t the right tool.

As my chosen health care system, BodyTalk provides me with a whole new level of tools to facilitate healing. I love the fact that as a BT practitioner I am able to simply facilitate the client’s innate ability to heal itself rather than relying on me to make a difference in the healing process. It’s always a joy and wonder to watch as my client’s body/mind moves to the next space in their healing journey. We are mightily created. It’s awesome to walk beside a body that is unlocking old emotional patterns, relieving pain, healing injuries and releasing limiting belief systems. The entire gamut of what goes wrong with our bodies when they can no longer care for themselves is addressed by BT. By providing the key to accessing our created ability to self heal, BT encourages the body to its’ desired state of health.

I observe that while massage is calm in the storm for the body, BodyTalk goes beyond the storm to a new space. Bodytalk provides the opening to step into your healing on your way to wholeness.
